    I've had this collar on my girl for about a year maybe more. She is a livestock guardian dog, and spends most of her time outside in the elements. This collar has not only held up to 2 winters, and rough weather. It barely shows any wear at all. The buckle does not slip, its stays in place unless you move it as your dog gets bigger. The leather is soft yet very sturdy, the chain doesn't rust. All around I believe this collar will last a dogs lifetime and just an amazingly well structured collar.
