    I ordered this leash for our new puppy (currently 15#, she will to grow about 55#). The leash is a nice brown color (which I like) and is a soft sturdy strong leather. I realized after using the leash with our puppy that a 5' or 6' length leash would be better for us, however, this is no reflection on this product it is something for buyers to consider per size of their pet. I believe as our puppy grows it will work fine.

The handle is large and soft so it does not squeeze my fingers together. I'm not sure what the feature "Stretch" means in the review selection so I have it a one star. I world recommend this leash.

    I’ve had dogs, and therefore used leashes, for a solid 40 years. I’ve had this leash for 2 years now, long enough to judge. The soft rolled leather is extremely comfortable, and easy to hold, but I was afraid it wouldn’t be durable. At this point, after walking at least a thousand miles with it, and the leash still looking like new, I can say it’s durable. My dog is one of the Belgian Shepherds, fantastically well trained, but needing to know who’s in charge. The short length helps him heel properly, and the rolled leather has just the right amount of tension for him to feel if he’s going ahead. Highly recommended.
